As many of you know, Samantha and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon. Every night we sat across from a large group of people who cruised every year together. We thought this was great and have been dying to do this with our friends and family since.

So we are announcing the Evan and Sam Friends and Family cruise 2012. 2012!? Yes, 2012.

We are planning on taking a cruise in the summer of 2012. The reason for waiting so long is to give everyone who would like to go a chance to plan, save money, save vacation days, etc. We would love to have a large group go with us and I am collecting information from those of you that are interested in going.

I have created an interest form and would really appreciate it, if you would take the time to fill it out. I plan on contacting several cruise lines to see what kind of group rates we can get, but I need to have an idea on the number of people who would like to go. From what I've already researched, group rates start when you have 8 cabins. So hopefully we can get more than that and help lower the cost even further. Just because you fill out this form, doesn't mean you are locked into going. You can contact me anytime, with updates or cancelations. This is just to collect information and gauge the amount of interest. If you have a family member or friend that you would like to bring on the cruise, that's great! Just have them fill out this form as well.

Like the last several designs (a few that got thrown in the garbage), this latest rendition of evanportwood.com is hopefully a step closer to allowing me to keep you informed and up-to-date on what is going on with us (Evan and Sam), while allowing me to be lazy and not put much effort into it.

I'm just no good at keeping up with the blog posts anymore. But, since Twitter is so nice and easy, I figured that I would encourage you to follow me that way. I will add some news here and there as it happens, or as I have time to type it up.
